Do you want to see Alaska, or do you want to see Alaska?
See what’s far away.
The Device: Nocs Zoom Tube Monocular
Use an 8x zoom monocular to see far away squirrels, birds, moose, or who knows, maybe even a bear! The monocular will make any wildlife you see that much better. You’ll see it crisp and clear.
Having squinted at dozens of animals on tours over the years, I can personally attest that if you spot a moose on the ridge across from you, you’ll be glad to have this monocular. Plus, it settles any “is that white dot a rock or a Dall sheep?” arguments!
See what’s close.
Nocs Inspector Microscope
Some people say it’s hard to get this thing to focus, but that’s what your guide is for! It’s actually a really cool little device. You can use it on it’s own as a magnifying glass, or attach it to the end of your monocular to create a full-on microscope.
The photo to the left is of a daisy through the microscope. Depending on the plant, you can see it at a cellular level. Personally, having used every part of it, I think this is the coolest piece of the Total Viewing Package.
And photograph all of it.
The Device: Nocs Smartphone Photo Rig Adapter
We’ve all been there. You see a moose and zoom in for a photo. You don’t think much of it until you pull out your phone to show your friend later. Instead of the moose you saw, you find yourself showing them a grainy brown smudge. “It looked way better in person,” you say, a little embarrassed.
Don’t settle for that grainy blob. Instead, show them the tips of the antlers, the curve of the nose. Show them that moose in clarity. The Photo Rig Adapter changes the monocular into a zoom lens for your smartphone.
Not only that, it allows you to take really close up photos of all the plants and lichens your guide shows you! The microscope is really neat on its own, but the fact you can take photos through it makes it that much better! How would you like to have some photos like these to show your friends after your hiking tour?
